Ho Chye Hoi

Chief Executive Officer / Chief Risk Officer

Ho Chye Hoi, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Dios Asset Management has over 25 years’ extensive experience with business and regulations in the finance industry.

Chye Hoi was the Head of Compliance at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (renamed GIC) where he managed the global compliance risks for the group for 11 years with a global team of compliance officers under him. His career includes his role as Compliance and Project Director with Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC), SBC & Warburg Dillion Read and Associates and UBS. He also spent several years as Head of Compliance with DBS’s Investment and Corporate Banking Division. In the earlier part of his career, Chye Hoi was the Senior Assistant Director/ Head Investigation and Operations with Commercial Affairs Department Ministry of Finance, a department he assisted in setting up. He was awarded the Minister for Finance Commendation (1989) for outstanding performance in directing investigations into Pan-Electric series of cases.

Chye Hoi was a Singapore Government Overseas Merit Scholar. He is a qualified chartered accountant with the Institute Of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and also holds a LLB from the University of London. In July 2007 he participated in Stanford University’s Executive Programme in Strategy and Organisation.

Yvonne Yap

Chief Financial Officer

Yvonne is the Chief Financial Officer of Dios Asset Management.

She is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) since 2012 as well as an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Yvonne has well over 20 years of accounting, consultancy and tax-related experience with local SMEs and MNCs. She currently has her own accounting firm servicing the clients in Singapore and China.

Koh Yeok Thiam

Chief Operations Officer

Koh Yeok Thiam is the Chief Operations Officer of Dios Asset Management.

Yeok Thiam began his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and has spent 20 years in financial services with the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) in the areas of back office operations, portfolio financial reporting and management of financial market data. His last held the position of Assistant Director in the Investment Data and Valuation Department of GIC.

Yeok Thiam graduated from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with a professional certificate. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore, a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom.

Sam Phoen

Senior Advisor

Sam Phoen is a seasoned financial markets practitioner with over 25 years of experience. His working career includes 16 years at Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), where he was the deputy department head of the Foreign Exchange Department. He also had successful stints in a large Singapore-based hedge fund, followed by over 6 years in Shanghai managing the China Global Markets business for ANZ Bank.

Sam is the author of highly acclaimed “High Net Worth Investing – How to grow your wealth through practical asset allocation” published by Marshall Cavendish Business.

Eddy Lim

Senior Advisor

Eddy has more than 25 years experience in the financial industry covering a broad range of products and services. He was the Head of Korea Exchange in Singapore office for their global business development initiative and prior to that, the Director of Business for Dow Jones Index in Singapore. In recent years, Eddy also served as a Group CEO of Zhongtai International Holdings (Singapore).

He specializes in Capital Markets Services & Asset Management; particularly in fund management, investment, underwriting and trading / dealing in securities in private and public companies.

Eddy is fluent in major South East Asian languages and dialects which includes
English, Mandarin, Malay, Cantonese and Bahasa Indonesia.

Imann Kurniawan Salim

Portfolio Manager

Imann Kurniawan Salim is the Portfolio Manager of Dios Asset Management. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in various trading and financial technology firms. He started his trading career with portfolio management at Philip Capital and then moved on to high frequency and low-latency quantitative trading with Nyenburgh. Subsequently, he took a sabbatical leave to explore parts of Asia, whilst developing his own proprietary algorithmic trading systems. He later secured a stint at Gobear to further his foray into the data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Nonetheless, his passion for trading led him back to join Equity Capital as a Quantitative Trader.

Imann graduated from University of Leicester, with a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Geo Tan

Senior Analyst

Geo Tan is the Analyst of Dios Asset Management. Geo graduated from Nanyang Technological University, majoring in Accountancy. He had worked at a family office as an analyst with experience in leveraged forex, equities and bonds. Geo is passionate about macro factors, politics and have closely kept up with the market for the past 3 years, which allows him to generate insights by synthesizing these information to build an alpha strategy. He is currently pursuing a CFA certification.

Huang Xingchuan

Operations Analyst

Huang Xingchuan is the Operations Analyst of Dios Asset Management. He holds a Bachelor Degree from National University of Singapore, majoring in Economics. Xingchuan is passionate about integrating programming languages into operations to optimize workflow efficiency.

Brett Chew

Admin and Accounts Executive

Brett Chew is the Admin and Accounts Executive of Dios Asset Management. He holds a double Diploma with 20 years working experience from External Audit, Corporate Taxation, Commercial Accounting, HR Function, Corporate Administration and IT support. He was an active weekly contra trading retail stock trading investor from 2001 to 2004.
